 What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Ipills?

Hi doctor. I m a 20 year old girl and having some menstural issues right now. My last period came on the 18th of April and ended on the 24th. I got intimate with my boyfriend on the 30th and since we couldn t use a condom, I took an ipill between 24-30 hours. Now, my periods are late by 6 days. How long can periods be delayed due to ipill? I will get a pregnancy check done in two days but what if it s negative? I m really confused doctor. Could I be pregnant ever after taking an I-pill on time? Thank you

Hello, thanks for posting on HCM.
Once you got your periods, there is no question of you being pregnant still. If you would have been pregnant you would not have got periods in 1st place.
I pill contains hormones which causes hormonal imbalance when taken and it is normally seen that period might get delayed or come early after consuming it.
You can confirm you being not pregnant by taking test on pregnancy kit available in any pharmacy.
